時鳥 — Hototogisu Japanese Sencha 40g

A deep-green sencha from Shizuoka with rich umami, a sweet aroma of young spring shoots and subtle notes of nori seaweed.

Produced in limited quantities each year, this tea is carefully refined for its flavour, aroma and leaf appearance.

Brewing instructions

Use 4g of tea leaves per 80ml of water.

• First infusion: 70°C for 90 seconds
• Second infusion: 80°C for 90 seconds
• Third infusion: 80°C for 40 seconds

Storage

Before opening, store in a cool, dark place. After opening, keep in an airtight tea caddy and consume promptly to protect the tea from moisture.
