Description

London-based label RUKI joins forces with Japanese producer DJ Himitsu for Sometime, a playful and percussive four-track EP inspired by the natural world. Blending DJ Himitsu’s polished production style with RUKI’s affinity for organic textures and atmosphere, the release delivers an energetic and immersive journey across house, breaks, and psychedelic rhythms.

The EP opens with the rainforest-infused groove of Mint, before moving into the hypnotic percussion and rolling energy of the title track Sometime. On the flip side, Matane brings a buoyant and uplifting 4x4 pulse, while Door closes the record with low-slung, psychedelic-tinged breaks and a surreal sense of movement.

Pressed exclusively on 140g EcoVinyl, each record is unique in appearance and manufactured with up to 50% lower emissions compared to traditional vinyl production by repurposing offcuts from coloured vinyl pressings.
