About this record
Hiroshi Yoshimura's Surround shapes a calm listening environment from delicate melodic figures and slowly moving layers of synthesizer. Originally released in 1986, its six pieces leave generous space around each sound, inviting attention without overwhelming the room. This remastered Temporal Drift edition restores a distinctive work of Japanese ambient music on vinyl, complete with an insert and obi strip.
